Beyond Oxford

As part of our response to the Lord Jesus' command to 'go and make disciples of all nations' we support a number of people working to tell others about Him in Oxford, in other parts of the UK and overseas.

UK

We’re concerned to make sure that people in other parts of the UK have an opportunity to hear the good news about Jesus. Among other things we help and support:

• Individuals working with London City Mission and UCCF


• People in training for Christian work


• Smaller churches seeking to employ Christian workers


• A number of organisations such as the Gideons (giving out Bibles) and the Stapleford Centre (which produces Christian teaching material for use in schools).

WORLD FOCUS

St Ebbe's supports a number of people working overseas (our 'Ebbe's Abroad') in a variety of capacities, but all with the common aim of spreading the good news about Jesus. We show our support with friendship, prayer, and financial help. Some of our Ebbe's Abroad are in long-term work, some are away for one or two years, and others are in training. They are involved in working in the following fields:

• Church Planting
• Theological Training
• Supporting workers with Children at Risk
• Teaching
• Student work
